hello I just left my Dr office and the nurse took my BP in my right arm with an electronic cuff and it was 131/41 and I asked if that was low on the bottom and she said alittle but as long as I felt okay it was fine, so when my Dr came in she said the right arm is always lower than the left and yes it was fine as long as I am fine, then she had the nurse come in with a manual cuff and told her it should always be taken on the left it was 118/70 , out of concern is all this correct

Dr. Nomi :

Hi,

Dr. Nomi :

Yes,your doctor is right.

Dr. Nomi :

No doubt about this.

Customer:

okay this scared me as I am taking Eurithromicin for upper respatory infection, thank you and you have put my mind to ease, my Dr said those electronic cuffs are not always accurate

Customer:

why is the right arm lower than the left

Dr. Nomi :

There is not a big difference between right and left arms. You can say left arm has a direct link with heart while right arm has indirect link.

Dr. Nomi :

Thats why there is dicfference in BP in both sides.
