hello i would like to ask a question about muscle recovery

hello i would like to ask a question about muscle recovery in soccer... i have been playing soccer for 6 months after being out of the game for 10 years and also out of any kind of activity and my leg muscles never recover as fast as they should i feel.i am 28 years old and 86 kg 185cm tall i dont have too much weight to carry but my leg muscles are taking as long to recover as they did when i first started playing again 6 months ago after sitting on my back side for years doing pretty much no activity i feel i shouldnt be suffering the extreme weak and sore legs nearly a whole week after a game if i have been training weekly for so long i find it strange there is no improvement in muscle recovery in the slightest since i played sports my whole junior life without issue.the soreness is in my calfs hamstring and front thigh so pretty much below the waist i can barely walk... i just find it strange my legs have not strengthened what so ever in the several high intensity games...and just to add i stretch my muscles before a game and warm up alot before any kind of activity

i think its more the ability for my muscles to recover i would like some advice on strengthening legs or advance tecniques on leg exercises if i had hamstring issue i would know i think
