hello would you like to chat on this?
how long have you been playing again?
6 months i been back into the high intense stuff after being off the scene for a decade!
this is something for which you should see a sports medicine specialist
frustrating stuff... im not nearly in shape of a 40+ year old
you are likely to be having a hamstring injury
and i compete against these people often
restarting after such a long time can have caused this injury
hamstring injury is most likely
RICE - rest, icing, compression and elevation are the steps for acute injury
really??.. on both hamstrings?
but since it has been 6 months now show a doctor
yes thats right
you could have caused this injury because you started again from scratch
chronic overuse injury
a clinical examination will be sufficient
your doctor may advise compression stockings and physiotherapy
this will not be the kind of injury that needs surgery
however rehabilitation exercises are very important
so best is to go to a sports medicine specialist for this
