do you have multiple blisters and which part of the body?
Help...I have a nasty case of poison oak
Yes, multiple blisters mostly on my right arm...wrist to elbow and then scattered everywhere else on my body. The right arm hurts themost
Now did you have any exposure to any plants?
My dogs escaped on Thursday and went thru it unbeknownst to me. I picked my little dog up with my right arm and voila 12 hours later...blisters.
Dexamethasone tablets will help.
Ok, what dosage and they're about a year old so I'm assuming they should still be effective
Usually they have expired --and home treatment is not recommended.
However the standard dose is:
4 mg every 6 hours x 2 days, then 4 mg every 12 hours x 2 days, then 2 mg po every 12 hours
then 1 mg daily x 2 days
I will still suggest you to see your doctor.
I appreciate it. I don't have have a primary physician, I only go when I need it...like now and that hasn't happened in the last 10 years. I figured this dex pills would do the trick but I didn't want to take them without knowing the dosage. I'll see a dr. if I don't improve for sure. This is miserable.
Yes I understand your problem.
The above dosage is the standard dose schedule.
