Dr. Saha :

Hello,

Dr. Saha :

Welcome to Just Answer.

Dr. Saha :

Dr. Saha :

Dr. Saha :

How far above does the pain move up?

Customer:

up to her calf

Dr. Saha :

Did you give any medicine?

Customer:

no. she feels nauseous.

Dr. Saha :

Does she have any past illness?

Customer:

no. she is healthy.

Dr. Saha :

When did the pain start exactly?

Customer:

started when she was asleep. she has chills and diarrhea.

Dr. Saha :

Does she have pain in abdomen?

Dr. Saha :

Do all those symptoms start simultaneously?

Customer:

no pain in abdomen. it started with pain in ankle.

Dr. Saha :

There can be an inflammation of the joint of ankle.

Dr. Saha :

There can be a few reasons for the inflammation.

Dr. Saha :

Gout can cause it.

Dr. Saha :

Sometimes there can be inflammation of bursa.

Dr. Saha :

Other possibilities are muscle spasm, clot.

Dr. Saha :

In diarrhea there can be loss of fluid & electrolytes which can cause muscle cramps.

Dr. Saha :

She can take antiinflammatory analgesics like motrin or naproxen, if there is no other contraindication.

Dr. Saha :

Please give it after some food.

Dr. Saha :

In severe pain there can be nausea.

Dr. Saha :

But with chill & diarrhea, there can be an infection too.

Dr. Saha :

She needs to drink plenty of fluid.

Dr. Saha :

Oral rehydration solution, gatorade would help to prevent dehydration.

Dr. Saha :

If the symptoms continue, I would advise to take an examination by doctor & have tests.

Dr. Saha :
My goal is to provide you with excellent service today.
Dr. Saha :

If there’s anything else I can do, please let me know
