Dr. Saha :

Which fingers are affected?

Customer:

Mostly the lower part of the arm below elbow including my hand and 3 or4 fingers in from the left

Customer:

I do also get an itchy feeling as well

Dr. Saha :

Is there any redness, swelling or rash?

Dr. Saha :

Do you have any other symptom? Do you have any other past illness like diabetes, thyroid?

Customer:

no redness or rash but today i noticed a little swelling

Customer:

no diabetes as yet although i am overweight

Dr. Saha :

The tingling sensation is related to nerve impulses .

Dr. Saha :

It can be due to pinching of a nerve or its root , in the spine or in the limb.

Dr. Saha :

It can occur in the elbow due to prolonged pressure on it.

Dr. Saha :

The other common causes are low calcium or electrolytes, vitamins or neuropathy.

Dr. Saha :

Sometimes low circulation can be factors.

Customer:

could it possibly be related to the heart

Dr. Saha :

Do you feel any pain in chest?

Dr. Saha :

How is your blood pressure?

Dr. Saha :

Occasionally low blood circulation in heart arteries can cause referred sensation in the left arm.

Dr. Saha :

I would suggest to take an examination by doctor.

Customer:

none at all but just thinkig if it is the early stages. my blood pressure when last checked was fine

Dr. Saha :

He can advise a few tests depending on the findings in clinical examination.
