Thanks for your question.
Do you see the chest pain worsening with physical activities?
Do you have any other medical condition?
Mostly when I either bend down or work with my hands above my head.
No other medical conditions.
This is likely due to the pinched nerve.
Pinched nerve is likely at the shoulder level or at the thoracic spine level.
Probably from the sleeping position, lifting or stretching can cause this problem.
This is not concerning.
For the treatment physical therapy will help.
It seems to be spasming now without even moving, just getting out of my chair. It comes on sudden, but does not limit breathing
Upper back exercises should be performeddaily.
yes that is how the pain is felt usually when the muscle is stiff or sore from the sitting or resting against
This is the link for upper back exercises at home:
Thank you for your suggestions... I will check out the link right away.
Heart problem is unlikely since this is consistent and does not worsen with activities.
Please note that it does worsen when I am trying to get up and replace a light bulb for instance above my head?
That is because these movements cause pressure on the nerve.
But if you run or walk no problem suggesting your heart is ok
If the problem continues it is better to see an orthopedic surgeon.
I understand better now, thank you again!
