What kind of OTC medication would you recommend for stomach virus?

I had diarrhea the first day some body aches and a feeling that I am about to throw up a little when I drink/eat anything.

Second day no more diarrhea just a weak feeling I think due to dehydration but I still have that burping feeling when I eat or drink less though.

Dr. David :

Hello. There are a few different kinds of treatments for helping with symptoms of a stomach virus. Taking ginger root tea several times per day can be very helpful for reducing the feeling of needing to throw up. It can also help to calm the stomach. Taking a pro-biotic such as Acidophilus can help to improve the intestinal flora and reduce symptoms of the virus. Dr. David
