I am Dr. SS. I will try my best to help you.
This is INFORMATION only, not a substitute for doctor's visit.
When did the pain start this time?
Did you have any other symptom? Cough? Fever?
started about 5 weeks ago No cough or fever
Did you have any other test? Did doctor prescribe any medicine?
No other test , I have been taking anti inflamatories . Strange that I get the pain worse lying on my front like when having a massage.
The pain is likely to be musculoskeletal in nature.
This can be aggravated by bending, deep breath, posture.
Deep breath can aggravate pain from lung or pleura.
But you do not have any sympXXXXX XXXXXke cough, fever.
The chest X ray is also normal.
If I bend form and move my upper body down to my left knee it feels really bad.
There can be nerve impingement in spine too when there is wear & tear.
This can be affected by bending.
why is it taking so long to get better ? could the pain radiate aout from the spine then ?
Sometimes reflux pain can be aggravated by bending.
But it does not aggravate with deep breath.
Spine pain can radiate.
definately causes more pain on deep breath
You can avoid postures which aggravate the pain & take rest.
Could it be gall baldder problems ?
what worrie me was that the pain feels deep and massage has not helped
gall bladder can cause referred pain in the back on right side.
But that too would not be affected much by breathing.
If you do not feel improvement, please get a review by doctor.
I have no pain in the chest
A scan, ultrasound would be helpful.
Could a physio help ?
In your case, physio will be helpful.
You can consult a physical medicine doctor.
what was the problem showing on the xray called something beginning with S ? Spondyiolitus ??
reduced gaps in spine
Spondylitis is changes in the spine.
There occurs inflammation.
could that cause it ?
Reduced gap between vertebra increases the chance of nerve impingement.
