Hello,
Thanks for your question.
It is likely you have bad bacteria in the intestine.
They produce smelly gas from the indigested food materials.
The best option is to start taking a probiotic daily which will replace the bad bacteria with friendly bacteria.
Phillip's colon health is a good brand of probiotic.
You should avoid milk and dairy products like cheese etc.
They cause bloating
Your diet should contain moderate amount of dietary fibers.
Initially you should cook your vegetables well to make the fibers soluble for easy digestion.
Avoid meat, fish, chicken, eggs as much as possible for now till your symptoms resolve.
You can have plant proteins, like tofu, tempeh, lentils, rice etc.
Avoid nuts, seeds, beans, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower.
Also avoid sweets, cake, dessert, ice cream, caffeine as they worsen bloating symptoms.

Hi--I don't think the other expert really took into account what your problem may be. For this to happen suddenly may imply a gall bladder problem or pancreatitis or, perhaps, an H pylori infection but I think you need to see a doctor about this right away for evaluation before we just tell you about diet and what to do for this on your own.
