This answer was rated:

My 18 year old daughter has a 104 fever. Has been climbing all day. Swollen tonsils. Took Advil every 4 -6hours. Just took Tylenol. Legs ache. Says heart hurts now. Sounds like flu to me. Should the fever or "heart hurts" concern me. Otherwise she is healthy. On Prozac for depression 2 weeks and vitamins

Dr. Nomi :

Look like 'tonsilitis'.Chest pain can occur with tonsilitis.I think let her take rest and give semi soild soft diet.

Dr. Nomi :

No need to worry at all.Let her take Tylenol for next one day.Do cold sponging if possible.

Dr. Nomi :

If fever does not drop then there will be need to see doctor but wait at least 6 hours.
