Dr. Nomi :

Any change in her weight in last few weeks?

Customer:

not at all

Customer:

she is normaly very petite and slender

Dr. Nomi :

First of all make sure she is not under any kind of peer pressure or bullying.Because more than any physical ailment 'bullying'is the causative agent of depression in teens of this age group.Tiredness and excessive sleepiness are two main symptoms of depression.Secondly, she must get herself examined by her primary care physician .She must be investigated for any hormonal ,hepatic or any blood deficiency cause which is underlying these symptoms.

Customer:

she has been concerned with friends who are "Cutting"

Dr. Nomi :

So ,it might be some peer pressure .Try to ask her in private as she might be trying to hide her emotions .

Customer:

ok thanksl

Dr. Nomi :

This is kind of 'hide'which teens adopt when some thing is bothering them.

Dr. Nomi :

My good wishes.
