My wife thought that is what it meant that also. Is that something that was used in the 70's? She is reviewing records from that time.
Hi. It was used in the 70's but is still used today (I'll have to check and see if it is still used with PCN). Cyro stands for freezing, and this is a method of preserving living organisms or expired organism, among other things to preserve them. It is used in fertility treatment (freezing of the sperm and/or egg) today, among other things. PCN, is of course as you may know, made from a living cell....a fungus.
