Thanks for your question.
You can choose whole wheat bread or multigrain bread which is good carb.
Also brown rice is good instead of white rice.
Stay on vegetables, and meat.
Then you will not always exceed the carb.
how do i eat Italien?
Cottage cheese (paneer) is ok
love paneer. Palak paneer okay?
italian is difficult unless they use whole wheat pasta
palak paneer, matar paneer good
I know a place with Gluten Free pasta..
eggplant preparation good
Doesn't mattar paneer have cream?
still it will have simple carbs
usually they use ghee or butter
I love mattar anything... Is ghee better?
well --it has saturated fat --so not too much
bad for cholesterol
but they can also make with olive oil if requested
or canola oil
that's what a thought. My doctor expects eatting low carb to help those numbers too.
one or two serving is safe always
Olive oil Palak Paneer would be awesome. I didn't realize I could change the oil.
yes you can no problem there
how big would a serving be.. 1 cup?
If I was able to find whole wheat pasta. What would a serving be... whole wheat pizza?
6 inches will be fine
Okay... Or 1/2 a medium...
I was trying to contemplate not going out to eat any more and I cannot fathom it...
so you can enjoy life with small portion sizes.
I don't want my social life to suffer... Most of what we do is go out to eat. I'm trying to change that by going to a nature park on Monday...
Do I have anything to worry about with greek salads?
no --that is healthy
try to avoid mayonnaise which has lot of calories
instead choose greek yogurt
I've been using hummus instead
good for heart
I've been adding jalepeno to everything - spicy fills me faster.
I'm just not getting the sugar cravings. I'm totally surprised. I've lost 9 pounds over the last 2 weeks.
I figure it'll take a while to settle in to it's new level.
I'm at 335 now (which is too much) so I figure if I am losing under 2% a week it's okay for a while. Is there anything I can do to support my poor gallbladder?
You are making right changes so far--
You will do well over time.
I think so. I'm amazed at myself.
