I am a migraines sufferer but the headache i have at the moment

Resolved Question:

I am a migraines sufferer but the headache i have at the moment is not a migraine but I dont really want it producing a migraine. I had shoulder surgery 6 weeks ago and my muscles are not back to normal yet so I am almost positive its a muscle issue. Any ideas of what to do to help with this?

Where exactly is the pain of your headache now? What do you take for your migraines?

its more on back of head migraines are usually on one side of head. I take metroprolol a bp medicine so I do not get migraines as often. I take treximet if I get a ora.

OK--sounds like a tension headache from the muscle spasms. Ibuprofen, heat, and capsaicin cream topically can help, as can acupuncture and massage therapy. A prescription for a muscle relaxer could also help.
