Get the test now, 2 weeks after exposure, 6 weeks after exposure and just to ensure that you really do not have it - then get the test again at 6 months after exposure.
Usually if the test is negative by 2 weeks after exposure you do not have HIV

but these tests are expensive. I believe the PCR test is accurate. If i took one after 2 weeks and got negative then am safe right ?
