hello, Im a 32 yr old female, mother of 5. I have not been felling well over the past couple of weeks, you not had an appetite, severe diaheria, constipation, restless at night, anxiety, and had a fever 3 days ago. I have been tired, very down, and felling not motivated and not wanting to get up and do anything. I have been cramping, period cramps and had 2 periods this month.I noticed today when I went to the bathroom, a white transparent worm looking thing. I removed it from the toilet, but when I did, it was hard to make out and lost its appearance.Tonight, I think I felt something moving around my anus and when I went into the bathroom and got a piece of tape, very small white worm looking things were there. I have also been very sexual active with my boyfriend and we have touched and used toys on both of us. He has also had anal sex with me and went down on me using his mouth on both, my anus and vagina. This concerns me because I want to know how what type of worms/parasite I may have and if i do, how it is spread and what do I need to do about getting everyone else in my family checked out.My boyfriend has been very tired as well and looks almost depressed. Which is not like him or me. Anyway, I can take a photo and email etc of the worms so you can see what you think they are. I have a left over prescription of Mebendazole, 100 MG. I took one pill a few minutes ago. They were for the kids when we thought they had worms a while back from daycare but it turned out to be something else.We have 3 dogs and have noticed the dogs had whip worms and they were treated for this with a powder medication. I do not know if this is what I have but would like to get some imput from a Doctor. I do not have any insurance and can not afford to go to the doctors office until next March. This is when my insurance will kick in. Please help me!!!!
Optional Information: Person's Gender: Female Person's Age: 32 Already Tried: Took 100 Mg of Mebendazole and papya.
Hello- Parasites are quite common, and can be easily picked up from cats or dogs. It is probably unlikely that you had received contact with them from your boyfriend, but he may also have contracted them also from another source. It sounds as if you have confirmed that you do have worms, as you've seen them. Unfortunately there isn't any type of "home remedy" that can be taken to kill these type of parasites. Because you have been exhibiting symptoms of fatigue, fever, severe diarrhea and constipation, etc- I would have to suggest that you see your family physician ASAP for further testing and treatment as necessary. The symptoms you have may worsen if treatment isn't started quickly for this. Parasites are known to spread, multiply and grow very rapidly thus causing symptoms to get steadily worse over a short period of time. If treatment isn't started within a reasonable amount of time- it may cause more severe complications. I would also suggest that you go to the ER, if unable to make MD appointment due to cost, as they usually won't require payment upfront for the services and you can can get the treatment that you need. I would not delay in this, as a thorough examination would need to be completed, in order to determine the correct treatment for you.

I do not think I got them from my boyfriend. We work together and are in the crawfish or crayfish business and Im just worried that we both may have them. Im pretty sure that if i have them he does to because we are very sexual and pretty much everything flies with us except stuff to do with feces. Also worried if I can give them to my kids and if we do have dogs in the house and they have fleas, what would be your best guess as to which type of worms I have?
Hello- The children can get them, if they are exposed - via toilet seat, dog or cat feces, etc. These type of parasites, depending upon the source of origin aren't easily "caught" from person to person- by normal contact. There are over 3000 varieties and types of intestinal parasites which are categorized as, Protozoa, Trematoda, Cestoda and Nematoda. The specific type that you may have could be any of the above. It is impossible to diagnose the parasite and necessary treatment without a physical examination and stool sample. They are infact easily treated, so the faster you can receive the necessary treatment
the faster you will recover and start feeling better.
I hope this helps! :)
