I have been diagnosed with a small inquinal hernia. recommendations are watchful waiting.I enjoy playing golf, but don't want to make hernia worse. I am not in pain, but do have a slight pulling sensation on my right side. My question is can I safely play golf with this condition

Greetings.Yes. Golf can be played with the condition. Golf is not likely to increase the hernia or cause any complication like obstruction or incarceration of the hernia. Please feel free for your follow up questions.
I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information.
thank you. I have gotten several different opinions on compression garments. would you think it would help to wear a compression garment during golf match or probably not necessary. also would you recommend a specific type compression garment (ie:flat pad?)
You are very welcome, Richard. The compression garment are only advised if there is a discomfort during the play. Otherwise they are not recommended. Any compression garment can be used which supports the hernia site properly. It is privilege assisting you.
