Have you had a recent fever or a course of antibiotics?
Any diagnosed medical problem?
no..I did just purchase some OCEAN to use to keep my nasal passage moist. I don't find it bothersome.
I have low Vitamin D and Iron..and I have IBS
I do not take any medications
Thanks a lot for your input.
As per symptoms this is most likely to be an apthous ulcer.
The second possibility is that of a viral infection resulting in this spot.
what the heck is that?
Are you asking about apthous ulcer?
Yes.I am allergic to many medication including
antibiotics. Is there a natural way to get rid of this?
Apthous ulcer is a form of oral ulcer, its usually painful but can be pain less in some people.
The cause behind this mainly is the low immunity.
same low immunity can be responsible for the viral infection.
You just need to keep an eye on it.
There is no need to do salt water gargles.
You should use an OTC mouth wash that contains antiseptic and anti inflammatory.
for sinus symptoms you can take OTC Tab Claritin once daily.
I have ulcerative colitis (I'm in remission). Could it be from having a auto-immune disease?
Steam inhalation with menthol drops is very effective too.
Is there a specific mouth wash you prefer?
No not really.
Not necessary. you can buy any from your pharmacy.
In short there is nothing to worry for sure.
what about apple cider vinegar? I'm all about using organic natural items instead of medication
You can use listerine mouth wash .
Yes thats very good but will specifically not address this white spot.
well that's a relief....what do I need to keep an eye out for?
Yes i assure you.
and i would really recommend a mouth wash too.
one other question...will yogurt help at all?
Not specifically with ulcer.
I would recommend that you should avoid that while you are having sinus symptoms.
okay. when, if all do I need to be concerned? to see my GP?
because milk and dairy products increases the mucous production in respiratory tract.
Yes if it remains there for more than two weeks, then see your GP.
But i assure you that its not indicative of anything dangerous.
