I have pain above both my breasts and when i press both my hands against each other i have pain so I am thinking this is muscular but i have not worked out so I am baffled why I have this kind of pain. I don't have shortness of breath or anything like that so not sure what is going on

it is a constant ache that started this morning, no swelling, it is sensitive when to touch if i push on it ache gets worse feels like aching muscles to me but i didn't work out or do anything lifting or strenuous work of any kind in the past couple of days.. pain is just over my breasts does not go into armpits or anything like that.. I am 5'4 180 lbs just lost 15 lbs 3 months ago was working out then but went on vacation a month ago and not back on my workout regimen yet. I do have fatty liver but blood pressure has always test perfect and last time i had any blood tests done my cholestrol levels were fine but my vitamin "D" was so low they prescribed 50,000 IU of vitamin D I think i took one per week for 5 weeks or something like that.. hmmm this is all I can think of to tell you about my health..
Thank you for the information,The pain above the breast which worsens on pressure can be due to a few factors.Musculoskeletal causes like muscle strain, costochondritis can cause such pain.Costochondritis can occur without working out.Other possibility can be pleurisy or inflammation of the lungs or an infection.Heart pain can occur in this area but that would not get worse on such movement.However, I would advise to take an examination by doctor when the pain is persisting.Doctor can advise a few tests depending on clinical findings like X ray, EKG, blood tests.You can take tylenol for pain.I hope this information helps.Please continue conversation till you are satisfied.
