Resolved Question:

My daughter is going to be taking a drug test tomorrow and she took a pain reliever that we get in Canada, ac & c which contains 375 mg acetylsalicylic acid, 15 mg. caffeine, and 8 mg codeine phosphate. I was wondering if this would show up as opiate use on her drug test tomorrow. She only took one. Thank you!

Codeine can be detected for up to three days after it's been taken. One tablet might actually not be detected within a shorter time frame, but if it's been within three days from the time she took it until the test, the chances are very high that it will be a positive test.
