Can people live with hernia in groin

No I do not know if it is a hernia but it herts on and off I do not know way but when I was a baby they said I had surgery down have the scare but I have no parets to tale me y it hurts were the scare is

The pain is in right side testical area and shoots down leg I do not what to go to er again I have had these before they did a test like they do on pregenet woman did not have a hernia but now it is back
