Customer Question

I got hit in the hands with a hockey stick and it caused alot of bruising and swelling. After getting an X-ray it showed no fractures. My problem is with my right ring finger. It's sensitive to touch or push on just at the top of the front side just below my nail. If I bend it a pain close to a small electric shock goes through my finger and it is slightly numb in that area as well. the pain is quite bad. It's been 2 weeks since the injury.

Hello,
Welcome to justanswer and thank you for your question.

I'm so sorry to hear of your discomfort. It sounds that you may have injured connective tissue at the area of this joint (tendon or ligament). It can cause numbness and pain in affected area.
You can be advised with MRI scan of affected part.
You can be prescribed with anti-inflammatory and painkillers. Physical therapist may also be helpful.
I would recommend that you visit Orthopedician and get it managed.

I trust I've helped, and please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Best wishes
