I had a head injury several years ago and developed post traumatic epilepsy about three months later had my first seizure and three months after that my second and they have become more frequent. Is it normal that I am developing substantial memory loss? Or should I be concerned about some form of progression?

HelloNo it is not normal and nor should you let it go.See a nuerologist asap about this.Have an MRI of the brainHave B12 levels run along with other B vitamin levels, and an intracellular magnesium level.Have any medications reviewed for this side effect.Use a mediterranean diet..as it has been shown to help prevent memory loss.Exercise.....Very important.
