Warm running down left leg from knee to foot. Went to ER yesterday

Resolved Question:

Warm running down left leg from knee to foot. Went to ER yesterday due to swellowen ankles and hands, ultra sound done on legs and came out good. Warmth started today, since I've been to any doctor.

How long has all this been going on and do you have other medical conditions? Did the ER doctor have any comment?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
Legs been swellon for about two weeks. I had a right breast mass removed march 22, in which they did put me to sleep. But the warmth started just today.

Any change in skin color on the leg?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
It doesn't look like it.

But the area is swollen and warm to the touch?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
It is swollen but not warm to the touch. It feels like warm water running through my leg.

It sounds as though you either have the beginnings of cellulitis--a skin infection--or early shingles. If the leg becomes red or breaks out in a blistery rash, you need to see the doctor again about that.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I've had a fever for the past three days.

That could more likely be a prodrome to shingles.
