Resolved Question:

My son is missing his major pectoral muscle. He has horrible handwriting. Can the lack of this muscle cause "messy handwriting"?

Pectoral muscle does not play role in hand/wrist and finger movements, I am afraid. So absence of pectoral muscle is not responsible for her writing. Writing classes for improvement of it would help her. Practice can definitely improve the writing, which needs lot of patience.
