I am 46 years old and the doctor put me on tri sprintec birth control pills which I have been on for the past nine days. I am stopping today as I do not feel well and I am not comfortable taking them. What are the chances of developing a blood clot as a result of taking the pill for the past nine days.
Optional Information: Person's Gender: Female Person's Age: 46
Hello and welcome to JustAnswer,
If you are asking about the risk from the birth control pill only then it is almost unmeasurable and in fact, can not be measured, because the risk is different for each person.
IN FACT IF YOU LOOK HERE all you will see is that taking this medicine WITH cigarette smoking MIGHT increase the risk of blood clots.
The chances that taking them for nine days would give you a clot are almost zero.
