Can you tell me what you mean by close? Are we referring to treatment for ADHD?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Yes. I need a generic sub for Concerta.
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 5 years ago.
Is that all that you've ever had?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I have had them all at one time or another. Is either Adderall or Dexedrine in the same class as Concerta?
Expert:  Dr. Chip replied 5 years ago.
Not exactly the same class chemically but these are all stimulant medications used for ADHD. The one possible advantage to Concerta as opposed to generic, not controlled release Adderall is that the Adderall, to be effective, may need to be taken two or three times a day. Same with generic Dexedrine.
