Do I need to see a doctor about blood in my stool? It started last night with abdomen pains now there is blood when I go to the bathroom.
Yes if you are having bloody stools you do need to see a doctor regarding this. There are a number of causes of this such as hemorrhoids, fistulas, inflammatory disease, infection, etc. You need an evaluation for this and then be treated as deemed necessary. No amount of blood in your stool is normal. So please see your doctor as soon as possible.
