Hello

mysticdoc :

Thanks for your question.

mysticdoc :

How long you have been having pasty stool?

mysticdoc :

Is there any blood or mucus?

Customer: One year off and on. Lately it's pasty on a regular basis
mysticdoc :

ok

mysticdoc :

do you take any medication daily?

Customer: No blood. No mucos
Customer: Crestor 10 nightly
mysticdoc :

how long you are taking crestor?

Customer: 2 years
mysticdoc :

ok

mysticdoc :

how many times a day you move your bowels?

Customer: Once unless I eate good, then twice
mysticdoc :

ok

mysticdoc :

what kind of diet you follow?

Customer: I normally don't eat until dinner. I started drinking naked juice about 2 weeks ago. Coffee during the day. Rare lunches.
mysticdoc :

ok

mysticdoc :

usually pasty stool is suggestive of bacterial action in the intestine.

Customer: Treatment plan?
mysticdoc :

You should consider taking a probiotic like Phillip's colon health or Activia daily

mysticdoc :

Also try to eat a high fiber diet--green vegetables, whole fruit, whole wheat bread

Customer: Which one will balance things the best?
mysticdoc :

Phillip's colon health is better

Customer: Would a veg smoothly from Wolefoods work?
mysticdoc :

Cut down on coffee if you can

mysticdoc :

drink more water

mysticdoc :

is it a probiotic?

Customer: No. They just grid up vegetables add water and you drink it
mysticdoc :

ok --that is also good

mysticdoc :

you can take that

mysticdoc :

try to have 3 regular meals every day

Customer: What will give me the bulk I need?
mysticdoc :

dietary fibers --

mysticdoc :

that is why vegetables will be good

Customer: I would like regular no 4 on the Bristol Stool Scale
mysticdoc :

also include soluble dietary fibers.

mysticdoc :

Soluble fiber therapy is one example

Customer: Metamucil
mysticdoc :

Methyl cellulose ( Citrucel) is another brand

mysticdoc :

Metamucil is fine

mysticdoc :

but other two are also good.

mysticdoc :

Other two contain methyl cellulose--better bulk forming agent

Customer: To summarize, Phillips Clon Health; Activia daly; vegetables and salads; more water; 3 meals a day; and Metamucil or Citrucel with each meal?..
mysticdoc :

I will suggest try citrucel instead of metamucil for now 2 tablespoons 2 times daily along with others.

Customer: Anything else?
mysticdoc :

no that will be it and you should see improvement within 2 weeks.

mysticdoc :

Best wishes

Customer: Thank you
mysticdoc :

very welcome

mysticdoc :
