What is ischemic heart desease? suspected mild myocardial infarction and had a stent procedure approximately four weeks ago. Also developed fluid on left lung. Is it possible to recover completely. I am 67 fairly fit weigh 52kgs exercise and play golf.

Ischemic heart disease is disease in which there is ischaemia (reduced blood supply) of the heart muscle whose heart due to disease of arteries supplying heart muscles.

In this one can no longer pump enough blood to the rest of their body.

Common symptoms are chest pain , chest tighteners , pain radiation to arms , breathless ness, sweating etc.

Stenting is done to treat blockage in arteries of heart.

Do not worry you will be alright.
