Hi,
I would like to help but need some additional information.

What symptoms are you having? Heartburn? Belching? Chest pain? Nausea? Shortness of breath?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I just have to take deep breaths, slight pain, not much, coughing a little. I had an xray/bloodwork done a week ago. All normail for the cardiac sign. This happened yesterday after i ate lunch.

If you have already had a cardiac work up for the symptoms you are presently feeling and it was negative that is definitely reassuring. Things to consider with these symptoms are gastric reflux disease/gastritis for which over the drug medication such as omeprazole can be tried along with eating smaller more frequent meals, avoiding spicy foods, caffeine, chocolates, smoking, and sitting up at least 30 minutes after meals.

Is this caused by fatty foods and a bad diet? Does it sound like gas to you ?
Expert:  Dr. Singh replied 5 years ago.
Yes fatty foods can cause this. It is likely reflux in other words liquid foods regurgitates back in your throat , causing the symptoms (gas like feeling) you are experiencing. Tums may help to some degree, but a medication like omeprazole will be better able to relieve your symptoms.

Again, if any further questions please ask, otherwise please click accept.

I had back to back cardiac work ups last week. With all good results. Will this gas take some time to go away?
Expert:  Dr. Singh replied 5 years ago.
Yes it usually does take a few weeks for the medications and your dietary changes to take effect. But you should start feeling some relief within a day or two.

Are there any exercises I can do ?
Expert:  Dr. Singh replied 5 years ago.
Just general exercises to lose weight can help. No exercise in particular.
