Thank you for the information,

The feeling of somethingin the throat can be due to different conditions.

Acid reflux can cause it.

As you have gerd & belching a lot, it can be a factor.

At night there can be increase in reflux so you may feel it more in the morning.

Chronic inflammation, post nasal drip can also be factors.

Sometimes growth or tumor can occur.

In some cases it can be related to anxiety & stress.

When it is continuing for 2 months, you need an examination by an ENT specialist.

He can look down into the throat & larynx with scope.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.

Please feel free for any follow up query.

Regards.

The possibility of reflux is more.

But you need to get an examination as from symptoms it is not possible to narrow it down.

You may need other medicines for reflux besides nexium.

Anxiety, stress can be associated.
