How long are you having the symptoms?

Does it go down the leg?

Which pain medicine did you use?

Do you take any other medicine?

Do you have any other symptom or previous illness?

Thank you.

Thank you for the information,

The pain in the lower back can occur from a few possibilities.

It can be due to degenerative changes, slipped disc.

In some cases deformity of spine, infection or growth can be factors.

Weakness of muscles of the back can be a factor.

Initially pain medicines like ibuprofen, tylenol or naproxen is used.

Application of heat can be helpful.

If the pain does not subside you need to take some tests.

X ray or scan can be necessary.

Physiotherapy can be helpful.

Injection of steroid is sometimes needed.

I would advise to get it examined by doctor again, if the pain continues.
I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.
