My finance received a letter in her door...not her mailox.

Resolved Question:

My finance received a letter in her door...not her mailox. It was from the palm beach dept of health and it said it was urgent that she call. They are now closed until Monday and we are both a mess. She donated blood bout 2 months ago abut was also diagnosed with Chamydia recently and has had it likely before we met. Does the county health dpt sent letters like this for STD's or is it reserved for caess like HIV?

Hello
HIV would only be one of many possibilities
They found anemia
Findings of chronic hepatitis

And other reasons

Does she have any known exposures or problems?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
No. Her Iron count was good and she has been with not too many partners. Are you saying that Chlamidya would not be a reason for her to get this notice? Neither of us are gay or have ever used IV drugs...but waiting till Monday seems like a hard pill to swallow.

Hi--Dr. Thomas had to opt out. What state does she live in?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
Florida....Palm Beach County. Thanks. JR

OK. Chlamydia is a reportable disease in Florida, so I think the chances are very high that that is all this is about. Sorry you have to wait until Monday to confirm that.
