Hi,
The blood picture is showing that you might had or still having a viral infection .These cells are main defensive cells of the body .Decrease in number of neutrophils (as they are first line of defense) and increase in lymphocytes (lymphocytosis ) suggest the response of these cells towards combating an infection. To be on safe side he has asked you to go for repeating of test.
So please do not worry.

Dr.Naeem.

If I have a viral infection, would anti biotics help?

Expert:  Dr. Nomi replied 5 years ago.
No,they will not help as the virus will complete its cycle and go away itself .
