My recent chest Xray finds a small linear opacity in the rt upper lung laterally. The Dr says don't worry follow up in 1 month, I don't understand what this is.

Hello
This is a none descript finding.
It can be the normal fissure in the lung.
It can be old scar tissue from a previous infection.
if the repeat is no change, then it is nothing.

If you are a smoker, that is different and I would have a chest CT.
