Hi,
Tylenol is better. Excedrin is more for relief of headaches. You can also try using over the counter benzocaine to relieve the pain. Also flossing and rinsing with warm water may help.

Hi--I disagree with the above expert. Since Excedrine contains both Tyelnol and aspirin, the aspirin, being an antiinflammatory, would be more likely to be effective on a toothache as opposed to Tylenol alone.
