Hello,

Have you had your Vitamin D levels checked?
Do you have any known chronic health problems?

My Vit D level is fine. I do have osteoporesis of my left femur head. I am actually asking for my friend who is 42 years old with no medical problems. I used to take Posture D and I know that that supplement has all the necessary mg and I don't have the bottle anymore and I cannot find the article that denoted the recommendations. Thank you.

Thank you for the information,

For women, the recommended calcium amount (pre-menopausal) is 1000 mg. Post-menopausal is 1200 mg.

For Vitamin D if not deficient, the recommendation is at least 600 IU daily. If at risk for osteoporosis, the recommendation is at least 800 IU.

Most adults do not need to take phosphorus or magnesium because they are not deficient.
The recommended daily intake of magnesium is approximately 320 mg elemental magnesium per day. If you do take a supplement, you need to look at the amount of elemental magnesium that is contained within the supplement itself.

For phosphorus, the recommended daily intake is 700 mg.
