I have been having pains in my left nut its not a constant

I have been having pains in my left nut its not a constant pain but at least 2 to 3 times a week it will hurt its not a sharp pain its like a tightening pain was wondering what it could be

Where exactly is the pain?

Any history on trauma or injury?

The whole left nut and there is a lot of history of injury to the area when i was younger

Possible causes of such pain are infection of testis or epididymis, hydrocele i.e fluid-filled sack along the spermatic cord within the scrotum , varicoceles i.e enlargement of the vein that is in the scrotum draining the testicles , inguinal hernia etc.

You would need a very careful examination by Dr. to make certain that it is not anything serious.

If pain is severe please take Tab. Ibuprofen for pain relief.

If infection is there you will require antibiotic for treatment.

You might require Ultrasound to find out exact cause.
