Hello, and I am pleased to help, use of my answers are for educational purposes only.
1. Isoimmunization
2-3. Baby is possibly cyanotic becaues of the attack of the red blood cells unable to release oxygen to tissue and because Mrs Carlyle was possibly pregnant before - she might have had an abortion.
4. Treatment for the baby is with blood transfusion and treatment for Mom's she will need to get checked for anti-bodies and might need IVIG for the next pregnancy (very EXPENSIVE _ can cost up to $100,000 PER WEEK!!!!)

What would be the benefit of giving intravenous albumin to a patient who has experienced fluid loss andb has low blood volume? Relate your answer to osmolarity.
Expert:  Dr. Owen replied 5 years ago.
Albumin is protein - would help for fluid loss, but nothing else.
And, with Albumin - you should given about 2 liters of ionized fliud too.
