I believe I broke a blood vessel in the outer skin of my penis. Some blood has pooled there. It doesn't seem like a lot, maybe the size of a quarter and it doesn't hurt. Is this serious and what should I do?

When & how did it occur?

Do you take any medicine?

Is there any change in shape or color?

Thank you.

yesterday afternoon. it was pinched. I take bp med, lisinopril hctz 20-25. just a quarter size pool of blood on the side.
Thank you for the information,

I would advise to get it checked by doctor.

In some cases there can be rupture of vein in the penis, in other cases there can be fracture.

The degree of injury needs to be determined.

In the early stage & mild cases you need to support it, ice can be applied wrapped in towel to reduce the swelling.

Tylenol can be taken too to reduce any pain.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.
