911Doctor :

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer,

911Doctor :

A normal ultrasound is reassuring but does not rule out disease of the gall bladder.

911Doctor :

Some gall bladder disease is not related to the presence of gall stones and is related, rather, to the presence of a dysfunctional gall bladder.

911Doctor :

To find this one must undergo something called a HIDA scan....

911Doctor :

A link follows....

911Doctor :

you are a female in the right age range to have gall bladder problems.... just because your ultrasound was normal does not mean that your problem is not related to your gall bladder.

911Doctor :

it sounds like your physicians are proceeding logically...

911Doctor :

i think you will see they will order a hida scan next....

911Doctor :

and, as strange as this may sound.... it is not bad news if this is your gall bladder, as, with a very common laparascopic surgery, this is a cure.

911Doctor :

i am standing by for your questions.
