Hello,

With a significant change in her blood pressure and pulse, her heart should be investigated by following;

1) An echocardiography

2) EKG

The stress can be a factor for lowering of her blood pressure and pulse. Since her insurance has mentioned that her investigations could be covered, you should go ahead and get them done by her primary care physician.

Cancer is not likely to be issue for her symptoms.

Please feel free for your follow up questions.

I would be happy to assist you further, if you need any more information.
