pregnant (she says)

Resolved Question:

My female co-worker is getting nausea really bad. In the morning it's so bad she says she doesn't want to get up. She isn't pregnant (she says). She also has a loss off appetite. Her nausea comes and goes as the day wears on.

Dear customer,

does she had the normal menstrual cycle?
any associated fever, diarrhea, abdomen pain?
did she consult a doctor yet?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
She did have a normal menstrual cycle. She just had it, and she was in a lot of pain and very moody. She has an apointment, but has complained about it in the past, and they told her it would pass. She is going to see a doctor in a few weeks.
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
her cycle did start happening in less days (shortened cycle).

Dear customer,

thank you for information,

The nausea and vomitting along with abdomen pain may be associaated with some common causes like gastroenteritis, appendicitis, gall stones, intestinal obstruction, pacreatitis, etc.

As per the symptoms she should get the relevant investigations done like stool examination, sonography of abdomen, x-ray abdomen, liver function test after consulting the doctor/gastroenterologist to know the associated abnormality.

The treatment depends on the underlying cause.Meanwhile she may take the antinausea drugs like domperidone, reglan to control the symptoms.

The neurological causes like migraine, brain tumour etc should also be ruled out.
