Is pain related to movement or you get pain on rest also?
My knee was very painful last night. I went to bed and everything was fine. It was pretty cold last night, so I was kind of sleeping in a ball and I woke up with fairly bad knee pain.
Sorry, I may not have answered your question accurately: it is mostly related to rest. I work at a desk most of the day.
Is there any visual swelling?
Any redness around knee?
Nope. No swelling or redness.
Any history of such pains in oast?
Any other joint pain?
Any history of traums?
Not for myself (no fever), but my mother and grandfather have knee problems. My mother has had both knees replaced. I'm not sure what the underlying medical conditions were for either of them.
Any strecting bending which can creat pressure on knee?
For myself, I have always had flat feet and just recently discovered that it has been slowly twisting my spine. I have been using orthopedics in my shoes for the past year. My knee might be connected to that, maybe?
how much pain you have now?
On scale of ten?
No history of trauma.
Any swelling on back of knee?
With my leg straight; no pain at all. If I try to bend it; pain is a 3. When I woke up it was an 8.
No swelling anywhere. The pain always slowly goes away over several hours.
Thanks for all the information.
No pain at all when walking either...just when I bend it to 90 degrees or more.
There is possibilty of damage of some internal structure of knee joint i.e ligement or meniscus.
You should avoid undue movement for a while.
You require detail orthopedic examination tofindout exact cause.
Later on your doctor may advice an MRI.
Tak Tab ibuprofen if pain is severe.
So avoid "dance" type excersize for awhile?
Thank you so much:)
