about 1.5 weeks now...It seems to have grown a bit, but as you can see it still small, and colorless.....Is this something to be nervous about? could it just be a mole?
Expert:  Dr. Hasan replied 3 years ago.

Thanks for your reply.

I saw your pic and it just looks like a nevus. Just one can get routinely.

I come across nodular melanoma on face because of being Head & neck surgeon and i am aware of them, they are not like this. They are quite aggressive and your ones looks benign because of its margins and contours. So i have no suspicion for that to be a melanoma.

I am sending a pic of nodular melanoma and you can easily compare with your lesion and will feel that its basically the margins and contours which are not like yours.

Getting a dermatology consultation is best but you should not worry much.

i hope this helps

ok. It looks as if its groing however. There is a small thing above it that looks as if its growing bigger

Thanks for your reply.

The small thing above it is not clear in the photograph however cannot be nodular melanoma with this short history . I hope getting dermatology consultation will help you gettting relief from your worries.

I hope this helps you.

im not sure i understand. What do you mean by short history? It was not there a month ago, and now its there. Its just making me nervous. My appointment is tomorrow, what can i expect?
Expert:  Dr. Hasan replied 3 years ago.

i asked since how long you have this and your answer was 1.5 weeks.

anyhow if one month history and fastly growing mole, it should be checked and you should be concerned also. But its not like that only melanoma grows fast, there are simple lesions like your ones which can grow this way. Moreover its the look of your lesion which is not aggressive looking as per its margin and contours.

Please donot be nervous and hope for the best.
