i have been sensitive at the lower tip of my spine for no apparent reason. Only really sensitive at the time of sitting

People that have pain at their "bottom" -- which is worsened by sitting, e.g. putting pressure on the area -- could have inflammation of the coccyx, or the "tailbone".

Often times, the treatment for this is simply to get a better padded seat, such as a cushion shaped like a "donut" - with a hole in the middle - that can help relieve the pressure off of this area.
