Your hand numbness may be secondary to a pinched nerve, carpal tunnel, tendinitis, and positional compression on a nerve. I recommend using a wrist brace to see if that relieves the numbness. Should it not, I would recommend seeing a doctor about this, you may need an x-ray as well as a neurological/musculoskeletal examination with some blood work and possible nerve conduction studies to determine the cause of your symptoms.
