Hello,

Where exactly are you feeling the sensation? Is it above the ear towards your temple?
Does it feel like a twitching sensation or spasm?

Its more abobe the ear and seems more like a twitch. Almost the same movement as when you raise your eye brows.

Thank you for clarifying,

I am sorry to hear about your mom.

It sounds like you are having some muscle fasciculations or spasms.
This is not a sign of an aneurysm.
Muscle fasciculations (twitches) are typically benign and no underlying cause is found.
Some people develop them if they drink too much caffeine, are stressed or are very tired.
If you are having constant twitches or muscle contractions, it would not be a bad idea to see a neurologist for an exam to rule out any underlying problems. Rarely, certain diseases can present with muscle twitches--but not aneurysms.

If you drink a lot of caffeine, try cutting back to one cup per day and see if that makes any difference for you.

Whats diference between a twitch and spasm. Can you describe it?
Expert:  Dr. Abby replied 6 years ago.
They are pretty much the same.

A spasm is an involuntary movement of a muscle. A twitch is a small, quick spasm.
