Hello
Since how long you are using these medicines?
Did you continously taking medicine since start of pregnancy?
many thanks to you Dr Israr , i was on imuran 75 mg + 5 mg prednisolone seince april 2010 my last period was on 25 may 2010 then on 26 august 2010 doctor increase daily imuran to 150 mg + prednisolone 30 mg + and add 200 mg plaquinail because i was in hospital because of precarditis effusion and joint pain now my precarditis decreased about 30% but my heart beat rate is high 130 per minute i checked throyid every thing is okey can you explain why i have fast heart beat i checked my heart sonar it is okey except that effusion?
Ok and thanks for your input.
Amniocentesis is another option to detect fetal birth defect. But this procedure has its own risks. In your case it is better to go for anomaly scan or fetal cardiac Doppler at 18-20 weeks.
In pregnancy blood volume increases which in turn lead to increase heart rate as well. So in your case some pericarditis and pregnancy physiological fluid over load is the cause of your increase heart rate.
Thanks
